The Community Grants program of the Junior League of Charlottesville awards grants, up to $4,000, to help non-profit community organizations meet immediate community needs. Groups must be a 501(c)(3) organization or school.
This program provides financial support to a diverse group of organizations throughout our community. For the 2020-2021 League Year, our Community Grants will exclusively fund projects related to our Community Impact Focus, Empowering Women through Mentorship.
The Community Grants Committee reviews applications and awards grants in both the fall and spring. Through our fundraising efforts, we strive to give out at least $6,000 per grant cycle ($12,000 per year) to deserving organizations.
Applications for the Fall 2020 Grant Cycle will be open from September 21 to October 23. The application can be found by visiting the Community Grants Application Process webpage.
