Community Grants

The Community Grants program of the Junior League of Charlottesville awards grants, up to $4,000, to help non-profit community organizations meet immediate community needs. Groups must be a 501(c)(3) organization or school.

This program provides financial support to a diverse group of organizations throughout our community. Our Community Grants  fund projects related to our Community Impact Focus, Empowering Women through Mentorship.

The Community Grants Committee reviews applications and awards grants in both the fall and spring. Through our fundraising efforts, we strive to give out at least $6,000 per grant cycle ($12,000 per year) to deserving organizations.

Please see the Community Grants Application Process page for more details.
