The Community Grants program of the Junior League of Charlottesville awards grants, up to $4,000, to help non-profit community organizations meet immediate community needs. This program provides financial support to a diverse group of organizations throughout our community. For the 2019-2020 League Year, our Community Grants will exclusively fund projects related to our Community Impact Focus, Empowering Women through Mentorship.
- Community Grants Application Process
- The Community Grants Committee reviews applications and awards grants in both the fall and spring. Through our fundraising efforts, we strive to give out at least $5,000 per grant cycle ($10,000 per year) to deserving organizations.
The Spring 2019 Community Grants recipients are Girls on the Run of Central Virginia and Sin Barreras/Without Barriers Inc. Read more about their awarded grants here.
