The Community Grants program of the Junior League of Charlottesville awards grants, up to $4,000, to help non-profit community organizations meet immediate community needs. This program provides financial support to a diverse group of organizations throughout our community. For the 2018-2019 League Year, our Community Grants will exclusively fund projects related to our Community Impact Focus, Empowering Women through Mentorship.
- Community Grants Application Process
- The Community Grants Committee reviews applications and awards grants in both the fall and spring. Through our fundraising efforts, we strive to give out at least $5000 per grant cycle ($10,000 per year) to deserving organizations.
The Fall 2018 Community Grants recipients are City of Promise and Postpartum Support Virginia (PSVa). Read more about their awarded grants here.
