“Families in Crisis” – Albemarle County Public Schools (ACPS) Homeless Education Program received $1750 to provide 25 backpack kits to children in homeless families.
Jefferson Area Board for Aging (JABA) Friends in School Helping (FISH) Program received $1350 to provide reimbursement for mileage to train Fluvanna and Louisa county volunteers.
Computers4Kids, in partnership with Tech-Girls, received $1000 to increase engagement of teenage girls in hands-on STEM activities.
Shelter for Help in Emergency (SHE) received $1000 to fund the provision of necessary medications.
Women Build of Habitat for Humanity received $675 to be donated to Partner Families to assist them with achieving their dream of home ownership in the Belmont Cottages neighborhood.
PACEM received $500 for staff assessments of the homeless for their Literacy for the Homeless program.
