Interested in joining the Junior League of Charlottesville? Apply to the Junior League of Charlottesville’s 2019-2020 Provisional Class!

The first year of membership in the Junior League of Charlottesville, or JLC, is spent as a Provisional Member. As a group, Provisionals receive volunteer training, leadership development and learn about the history, governance and structure of the JLC.

Provisionals begin their year in August and continue their training through the following May when they become Active Members. Provisionals are required to attend meetings and participate in community service events throughout the year that will help them prepare for becoming an Active Member. They must also meet certain financial commitments and successfully complete the provisional training course.

The application period for the 2019-2020 Provisional Class is July 1 – July 31. Click here to apply to be part of our Provisional Class and learn more new member obligations.
